The “green insanity” that has been covering the western world is already causing serious economic consequences. However, there are grounds to suppose that it will get more and more interesting. Especially, if we take the two major symbolic persons of the world “green movement”. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Greta Thunberg took off their environmental masks and firmly indicated their real political intentions. Should they succeed in what they want; the world will never be the same as it was. And Russia and China will be the only two places of common sense in the entire world, which prefers to ignore common sense.
Together with two other radical activists, Greta Thunberg, published a programme article “Why we strike again” - where the three authors honestly admit that their fight for “salvation of the planet” requires elimination of existing political and economic system. “That action must be powerful and wide-ranging. After all, the climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all.”
Certain level of the key notions, used in this manifest is required for those, who are not familiar with the specific language of the radical “green activists. In their specific language of notions, “patriarchal systems of oppression” means any society with traditional values, where men are men and women are women, while the family is a union between a man and a woman, which inter alia provides upbringing of the next generation of the population of the Earth. By the way, such environmental activists often call for abstaining from delivering children – also for the sake of salvaging the climate. Moreover, in Anglo-Saxon countries, where such propaganda is in progress at its full speed, such attitudes are earning more popularity among the young people.
“Racist and colonial systems” – are the societies, where some ethnic and race minorities earn less than the majority on average. Europe is an excellent example of this pseudo-logic, where the following state of affairs is in place: the only reason why migrants commit crimes more often and earn less than the local population is racism and xenophobia of the very local population. According to the logic of Greta and her colleagues, one has to fight with these people for the sake of saving the planet’s climate. We should not marvellous cynicism of such activists as a whole: it is very difficult (though possible) to find in their protests on the issues that most of cobalt, the metal, required to produce the batteries for the cars, which they so much like, for example, Tesla, is mined by African children in slavery labour conditions. This general known fact has no effect to the tenacity of the “green insanity” to promote the idea of replacing vehicles by electromobiles.
Greta Thunberg’s announcement falls in harmony with another important document that has already been included to certain extent in the USA presidential candidate’s programme from the Democratic party – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a socialist-congresswoman, which she called “New green deal”.
Publication of this document in the USA turned into a terrible scandal for in their attaching documents the people from the headquarters of this young and potential politician honestly admitted that this was not an ecological programme for salvaging the climate, but a political document under the guise of ecology. Moreover, one of the most prominent ideas that the document contains is “prohibition of beef” (the developers of the plan were sorry that for ten years they would not be able to completely eliminate the entire population of cows in the United States),actual ban for use of automobile transport (the authors were also very worried over the impossibility of getting rid of airplanes alongside with the cows), guaranteed allowance (sufficient for living one’s life and “economic safety”) for those, who “are unable or do not want to work”, also transition to one hundred per cent “green energy” – i.e., refuse using coal, oil, natural gas and nuclear power stations. In the USA, they have not yet commenced implementation of these plans due to Donald Trump, who hints that: the more democrats promote the idea of prohibition of meat, using airplanes and oil, the more there are chances that the electors will vote in his favour again.
In European Union, they don’t yet have their own Trump, and there are politicians, willing to yield to the “green insanity”, and we can already see the results of such actions, and these consequences will aggravate in time for Ursula von der Leyen, the new European Commission President is already promoting her own version of “the Green deal”.
In order to assess the consequences of the decisions already taken, it is sufficient to read what European Mass Media and respectable consulting companies write about. A well-known American consulting company describes an absolutely insane strategy of implementing the “green energy system” in Germany’s energy system. Forbes quotes this consulting company: "McKinsey formulates a very serious warning while talking about growingly unreliable energy supplies of Germany due to serious dependence on instable solar and wind power generation. In June 2019, for three days, the German energy system was very close to power blackout”. Last month, France 24 informed about mass protest of German farmers, who blocked roads because the new “climate limitations” deprive them of their food, money and hopes for future: “Thousands of farmers drove their tractors to German towns and cities in protest against new agricultural policy of their government, who, according to them, will undermine their means of subsistence and will make them scapegoats for climate change. Long tractor convoys delayed traffic in the major protest action cities Berlin and Bonne, where the federal government institutions are located, while thousands of tractors hooted their horns and blocked roads in Munich, Hanover and Stuttgart”.
Financial Times wrote: “Consequences of “green insanity” has reached main precious stone of Germany’s industrial crown – auto producing groups. Mercedes-Benz owner Daimler, and Audi (Volkswagen brand owner) announced loss of over 20 000 jobs, which was the first real sign of enormous human costs of the transition of the industry from internal combustion engines to electrically driven cars. Daimler announced that in the following two years they will reduce over two thousand jobs and thus, the Mercedes-Benz owner added more to the destructive series of job losses in Germany’s car producing industry. Investments into electrically driven vehicles and pressure from dropping sales and of course profits stimulate serious reforming of the entire industrial sector. Loss of 50 000 work places was announced for this year”.
The new “green economy”, which they are building in Europe (and possibly, will try to build in the USA), it is difficult to find any space of nuclear power and oil industry sector representatives; and car mechanics and farmers will have difficulties to live in that economy. Such an economy will practically have no space for traditional values and people, who love to eat meat. But, this pseudo-ecological economy will privileged spaces for illegal migrants, for fighters for prerogative rights for various minorities and beneficiaries of various subsidies: from unprofitable electric cars to economically uncompetitive wind turbines, which are unable to provide uninterrupted power supply to the energy system. If this continues further, a very paradoxical flow of European tourists may start running to Russia, for in Russia (and in China, but we are geographically closer) one will be able to eat natural (not soya based) meat and drive on roaring petrol fuelled sports cars without a problem and when the tourist will have no pangs of conscious and no torture from the “environmental morality police” represented by social networks. Of course, this is a joke, but it is the very joke that may contain that very grain of truth, which is serious and sufficiently bitter for the victims of the “green insanity”.
