Ukraine has refused to challenge the claims about the energy blockade of Crimea, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, said in an interview with RIA Novosti at the SPIEF 2025. "A huge amount of work has been done. The court's decision on our claims has never been challenged. But our work has not been completed yet, new lawsuits are being prepared," the agency's interlocutor said.

The Crimean courts have fully satisfied the claims against the Ukrainian authorities for damages from the water and energy blockades. According to Konstantinov, the damage to the peninsula exceeded 14 trillion rubles. Work has begun to assess the consequences of the food, transport and banking blockades, as well as terrorist attacks.

As the head of the parliament noted, Crimea intends to demand compensation from Kiev for the water and energy blockades after the end of the special operation.

"You can't forgive that. If you forgive now, you will get hit next time," Konstantinov said.
