The International Association for Geoethics - IAGETH affiliation to the International Union of Geological Sciences - IUGS has been finally approved. IAGETH appears in the IUGS website of affiliate organizations. Geoethical section of the Russian Geological Society as a national branch is part of the IAGETH since its inception on 34 International Geological Congress (August 6, 2012).
